People sometimes feel the need to step away from their normal routines or environments in order to better understand themselves. Describe a time when you needed distance from a situation, place, or group of people in order to think more clearly or gain perspective. What did that experience teach you about yourself?

Prompt Response:
A time I needed to step away from my normal routine was after the wrestling season. I had become very used to going to two practices every day and wrestling a match every weekend and I almost could not imagine a life without wrestling. I decided to take a week long break from wrestling after the season to see what life was like without wrestling.
Summary:
Today we read chapter two and three of Into the Wild and answered a lot of questions on the theme of the book.
Reflection:
I learned a lot about the themes in Into the Wild.
