Choose a vocabulary word that resonates with you personally. Write a blog post explaining why this word is significant to you, including any personal memories or experiences that link you to the word.
Prompt Response: A vocab word that resonates with me most is anecdote because it is a word I hear a lot in political debates and things like that and I have never fully known what it meant. Summary: Today we worked on our vocab lesson seven and then did exercise 3 and 4. Reflection: I learned today that anecdotes are short stories.
Write about a time when you realized you needed to look out for yourself in a silly or harmless situation—maybe dodging a pop quiz, escaping a group chat argument, or remembering at the last second to submit an assignment. How did choosing wisely make your life easier?
Prompt Response: A time I realized I had to look out for myself in a silly or harmless situation was last semester when I was under a lot of stress and I almost forgot to turn something in that I had already done days ago and I turned it in at the last minute at night and I was really grateful because I know that if I had gotten a late grade I would have been mad because I actually did the work. Summary: Today we finished up reading our story and finished the writable questions. Reflection: I learned about the symbolism in the story "the life you save may be your own".
