Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

 Prompt Response:

My family owns a farm in north Georgia. I think this farm contains many stories but one I will highlight is how we got our first dog. When I was about 5 years old me and my family were sitting on the porch at our farm when a stray dog walked up to us. We took the dog in and asked online if anyone had lost their dog but got no response. My family had become very attached to this dog by the time we had to come back down to Atlanta so we brought him with us. Eventually the owner contacted us and told us that the dog was hers but she only kept him because her brother (his previous owner) had died, but she was no very fond of the dog and told us that we could keep him. That dog is dead now but in his time alive he gave me many good memories and I will always remember him as my first ever pet.

Summary:

Today we read a page about native american creation myths. We annotated the text and highlighted parts that we thought were important.

Reflection:

I learned that native American creation myths actually have a lot of similarities to the bible.
