My dogs get very jealous all the time. A lot of the time I will be petting one dog and not the other and the dog not getting petted will bark or paw at me until I pet them. One time I was petting my dog and my other dog came up and I didn't pet her, she got very jealous and went over to a vase on a table and knocked it over. The vase was very nice and it was very sad to lose it, but now I learned to always pet both dogs so they don't get jealous.

Summary:

Today we read a native American story called "the jealous father". After reading the story we got into groups and worked on our presentation for the story.

Reflection:

We explored the meaning of the story we read and I learned the importance of never being jealous of someone.

Prompt Response: A time I realized I had to look out for myself in a silly or harmless situation was last semester when I was under a lot of stress and I almost forgot to turn something in that I had already done days ago and I turned it in at the last minute at night and I was really grateful because I know that if I had gotten a late grade I would have been mad because I actually did the work. Summary: Today we finished up reading our story and finished the writable questions. Reflection: I learned about the symbolism in the story "the life you save may be your own".
